Lesões por arame liso em equinos frequentemente resultam em exposição óssea e ruptura ligamentar, exigindo protocolos terapêuticos integrados e personalizados. Este estudo teve como objetivo avaliar a eficácia da associação de abordagens convencionais e ozonioterapia em potra de 1 ano e 9 meses com trauma por corda no membro posterior direito. A metodologia incluiu relato de caso clínico com exame físico, cultura de exsudato, hemograma, limpeza diária com debridamento, curativos oclusivos, estabilização mecânica por talas e bandagens, antibioticoterapia e anti‐inflamatórios, complementados por aplicações perilesionais de ozônio e registro fotográfico padronizado. Os resultados mostraram formação rápida de tecido de granulação, redução de exsudato, deposição acelerada de colágeno, reepitelização de aproximadamente 70 % da área lesada em dez dias e melhora funcional progressiva. Concluiu‐se que a combinação de terapias convencionais e integrativas promove cicatrização eficiente e recuperação funcional, ainda que o prognóstico permaneça reservado.

Smooth wire injuries in horses often result in bone exposure and ligament rupture, requiring integrated and personalized therapeutic protocols. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of the combination of conventional approaches and ozone therapy in a 1-year-and-9-month-old filly with rope trauma to the right hind limb. The methodology included a clinical case report with physical examination, exudate culture, blood count, daily cleaning with debridement, occlusive dressings, mechanical stabilization with splints and bandages, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory therapy, complemented by perilesional ozone applications and standardized photographic records. The results showed rapid formation of granulation tissue, exudate reduction, accelerated collagen deposition, re-epithelialization of approximately 70% of the injured area in ten days and progressive functional improvement. It was concluded that the combination of conventional and integrative therapies promotes efficient healing and functional recovery, although the prognosis remains reserved.
