Resumo
O presente estudo, tem o objetivo de relatar a importância da estética no sorriso do indivíduo, tanto no âmbito social quanto no psicológico. Portanto, o relato de caso se justifica por se tratar de uma correção na estética dental que se manifestará diretamente na autoestima e confiança do paciente. Para o tratamento será realizado uma análise criteriosa do perfil do paciente, buscando atender as expectativas e, principalmente, respeitando os princípios cirúrgicos e de estética dental. Além disso, é de suma importância o planejamento individual na rotina dos cirurgiões dentistas, para obter sucesso em seus procedimentos e de maneira geral atender as demandas e anseios de quem busca por seus conhecimentos.

The present study aims to relate the importance of aesthetics in an individual's smile, both in the social and psychological spheres. Therefore, the case report is justified because it involves a correction in dental aesthetics that will directly affect the patient's self-esteem and confidence. For the treatment, a careful analysis of the patient's profile will be carried out, seeking to meet expectations and, above all, respecting the specific principles of dental aesthetics. In addition, individual planning is of utmost importance in the routine of dentists, to achieve success in their procedures and, in general, to meet the demands and desires of those seeking their knowledge.
