Sabendo-se que no Brasil ainda se observa grande incidência de casos de doenças infectocontagiosas como a tuberculose e hanseníase, faz-se necessário um estudo da positividade destas em nosso município, considerando a importância do diagnóstico, adesão e tratamento adequado evitando cada vez mais os possíveis contágios como também as sequelas que estas condições clinicas podem acarretar aos pacientes sem tratamento. Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar a distribuição e o comportamento quanto ao aumento e o controle de casos de tuberculoses e hanseníase no município de Barra do Garças – MT entre os anos de 2018-2022. O presente estudo destacou que houve uma predominância de casos tuberculínicos e hansênicos em pacientes do sexo masculino quando comparado ao sexo feminino. Sendo assim, os resultados apresentados contribuirão para uma melhor eficácia nas medidas profiláticas na Saúde Pública e a importância do acompanhamento farmacoterapêutico.
Knowing that in Brazil there is still a high incidence of cases of infectious and contagious diseases such as tuberculosis and leprosy, it is necessary to study their positivity in our municipality, considering the importance of diagnosis, adherence and adequate treatment, avoiding more and more possible contagions as well as the consequences that these clinical conditions can cause to patients without treatment. This study aimed to analyze the distribution and behavior regarding the increase and control of tuberculosis and leprosy cases in the municipality of Barra do Garças - MT between the years 2018-2022. The present study highlighted that there was a predominance of tuberculin and leprosy cases in male patients when compared to female patients. Therefore, the results presented will contribute to a better effectiveness in prophylactic measures in Public Health and the importance of pharmacotherapeutic follow-up.
