NÍVEL DE CONHECIMENTO DOS PACIENTES EM ATENDIMENTO DA CLÍNICA INTEGRADA ODONTOLÓGICA DO UNIVAR SOBRE IMPLANTE DENTÁRIO E OS FATORES SISTÊMICOS QUE INFLUENCIAM NA SUA PERDA
Atualmente a utilização de implantes dentários constitui uma alternativa de reabilitação altamente confiável e difundida para a substituição contínua de dentes ausentes. Contudo, uma série de fatores relacionados pode corromper o implante dentário ocasionando o insucesso na reabilitação oral. O presente estudo tem como o objetivo estudar o nível de conhecimento dos pacientes em atendimento da clínica integrada odontológica do UNIVAR sobre implante dentário e a sua perda, pois é uma opção de tratamento para reabilitação oral em pacientes parcialmente ou totalmente desdentados. Apesar dos benefícios reconhecidos, fatores sistêmicos podem influenciar ocorrendo comprometendo a estabilidade da reabilitação.
Currently the use of dental implants provides a highly reliable and widespread rehabilitation alternative for the continuous replacement of missing teeth. However, a number of related factors can corrupt the dental implant causing failure in oral rehabilitation. The present study aims to study the level of knowledge of patients attending the UNIVAR integrated dental clinic about dental implants and their loss, as it is a treatment option for oral rehabilitation in partially or totally edentulous patients. Despite the recognized benefits, systemic factors can influence, compromising the stability of rehabilitation.
