Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a influência das Políticas Públicas sobre as comunidades indígenas no Brasil, com ênfase na preservação da diversidade linguística e cultural desses povos. A pesquisa foca em casos recentes de ilegalidades em territórios indígenas, examina dados demográficos e documentações adquiridas junto a órgãos como a FUNAI, ISA e CIMI, e busca comprovar os impactos dessas políticas na diversidade linguística e cultural. Para tanto, utiliza uma metodologia qualitativa, com abordagem dedutiva e dialética, visando entender as complexas relações entre as ações governamentais e as comunidades indígenas. Os possíveis resultados incluem a identificação de causas das dificuldades enfrentadas por essas populações, as consequências dessas dificuldades, e a responsabilidade do Estado na preservação e promoção da diversidade linguística. Além disso, espera-se que a pesquisa elucide as divisões políticas e suas implicações para as línguas indígenas, bem como os desafios decorrentes do crescimento das atrocidades cometidas contra esses povos, resultando na diminuição do número de falantes. Para tanto, as políticas públicas desempenham um papel crucial na proteção ou desvalorização das línguas e culturas indígenas, sendo necessária uma abordagem mais sensível e inclusiva para reverter o processo de homogeneização cultural e garantir a sustentabilidade das comunidades

This study aims to analyze the influence of public policies on indigenous communities in Brazil, with an emphasis on the preservation of the linguistic and cultural diversity of these peoples. The research focuses on recent cases of illegalities in indigenous territories, examines demographic data and documents obtained from institutions such as FUNAI, ISA, and CIMI, and seeks to demonstrate the impacts of these policies on linguistic and cultural diversity. To this end, it employs a qualitative methodology with a deductive and dialectical approach, aiming to understand the complex relationships between governmental actions and indigenous communities. The
expected results include identifying the causes of the difficulties faced by these populations, the consequences of these challenges, and the responsibility of the State in the preservation and promotion of linguistic diversity. Additionally, the research hopes to shed light on political divisions and their implications for indigenous languages, as well as the challenges arising from the increasing atrocities committed against these peoples, leading to a decrease in the number of speakers. In this context, public policies play a crucial role in either protecting or devaluing indigenous languages and cultures, and a more sensitive and inclusive approach is needed to reverse the
process of cultural homogenization and ensure the sustainability of indigenous communities.
