Water aerobics stands out as an important physical activity for the health and quality of life of the elderly, as its regular practice helps with muscle strengthening and improved flexibility, which are essential for maintaining mobility and independence in old age. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of water aerobics on the health of the elderly, using parameters such as sleep quality, socialization, muscle strength, balance, and flexibility. Data were collected through questionnaires, medical history records, and measurements of blood pressure, weight, and height with water aerobics practitioners at the Municipal Park of Águas Quentes, in Barra do Garças-MT. The results indicate significant improvements in several aspects of the elderly's lives, showing that the research is on the right path to promote this practice and its health benefits, encouraging greater awareness of the positive impacts of this aquatic activity
