O Médico Veterinário deve possuir conhecimentos pertinentes para trabalhar de forma interdisciplinar nas áreas de saúde humana, saúde animal e ambiental enfrentando desafios. Desta forma, objetiva-se com este presente projeto, relatar a eficácia da cesariana em casos de distocia em bovinos, tendo em vista, o prognóstico da vaca e do feto. Além disso, conscientizar os produtores que a intervenção cirúrgica pode salvar a vida da vaca, dar a possibilidade de vida também ao feto. Nos últimos anos, o Brasil tem ocupado o lugar referência em bovinocultura no cenário mundial. Devido a essa grande quantidade de bovinos, um problema comumente encontrado na reprodução desses animais é a ocorrência de distocia, o que nos leva a problematizar: como a cesariana pode ser efetiva em casos de distocia fetal? Para tanto, analisamos a eficácia da cesariana em casos de distocia fetal em bovinos, para compreender o processo em busca de outras soluções possíveis.
The Veterinary Medicine professional has relevant knowledge to work in an interdisciplinary way in the areas of human health, animal and environmental health, facing challenges. Therefore, the aim of this project is to report the effectiveness of cesarean section in cases of dystocia in cattle, taking into account the prognosis of the cow and the fetus. Furthermore, make producers aware that surgical intervention can save the cow's life and also give the fetus the possibility of life. In recent years, Brazil has occupied the position of reference in cattle farming on the world stage. Due to this large number of cattle, a problem commonly found in the reproduction of these animals is the occurrence of dystocia, which leads us to question: how can a cesarean section be effective in cases of fetal dystocia? Therefore, we will analyze the effectiveness of cesarean section in cases of fetal dystocia in cattle, to understand the process in search of other possible solutions.
